When our beloved muumuu-clad Hillary lifted a Yoruba proverb for her 2006 book title, many of us were repulsed by the collectivist tone and pretension.
Little did we suspect what “the village” really had in mind for our kids.
It was sold as some gooey “lets-all-work-together” love-fest for the children. The children, the children!
A few thought that Hillary’s plan was that we all would be co-parents of everyone’s children and that our collective wisdom would improve the upbringing of all.
Given Clinton’s widely expressed socialist views, it came across quite differently to others. Some took it as an implication that they were incapable of raising their children without the help and guidance of leftists. Others were horrified at the notion that people like Hillary would have anything to do with raising their kids.
We didn’t realize at the time that the only people who would not participate in this village raising of children would be the actual parents. Teachers, doctors, counselors, bureaucrats, and politicians would raise these kids in any way they saw fit, and the parents would need to butt out.
So, what was the plan of the oh-so-wise progressives and their village?
The first step, taken long before the release of the book, was to flood the teaching colleges with Marxist ideologue professors who would churn out class after class of Kool-Aid-coifed nattering zombies to poison the minds of our nation’s impressionable children.
Those are the tattooed, pierced, dreadlock-sporting queer white teachers who lecture our children about the evils of cultural appropriation.
These freaks teach our children that girls can be boys and boys can be girls, or neither, and encourage them to choose new genders, names, and pronouns and whether you should even be privy to these decisions. If your child suffers from gender dysphoria, a serious mental health issue, you will know nothing about it and have no role in treating it.
It conspired to chop off the genitals of children (simultaneously protesting FGM) creating lifelong suffering and dependence on pharmaceuticals and medical care.
The Village decided that your little girl will have to use the bathroom in front of boys— and possibly be assaulted, and if she is, nothing will be done about it.
The Village teaches our children that males can menstruate and get pregnant, so they provide feminine products in the boys' bathrooms.
It destroyed girls’ and women’s sports by allowing obviously physically superior males to compete, denying legitimate competitors awards and scholarships while destroying the motivation to work hard to master a sport.
Even homecoming was to be destroyed. Suddenly, biological boys could be the Queen.
Participation trophies, another Village idea, undermine a child’s striving for accomplishment and excellence. One of the Village's prime directives seems to eradicate individuality, mental toughness, and merit.
The Village decides when to begin the sexualization of your child and to what degree of detail she should be exposed. The Village would declare what is a perversion and what is not. Surprise! No amount of sexual deviance is a problem, but Christianity and love of country are obscenities.
It decided that young children should be exposed to sexual literature depicting cartoons of boys fellating one another. They deem this material appropriate for grade schoolers, but too offensive to be presented at a school board meeting, and if you persist in exposing it, they will have you arrested and removed.
It decides if your child should hate himself because of his sex or skin color. It tells your child, if he happens to be white, male, and cis-gendered that he is an oppressor— somehow, as a second grader. Everyone else is a victim. However intentioned, the result is to destroy the self-worth of every child— boys and girls alike.
The Village introduced Intersectionality, CRT, The 1619 Project, and other puerile lies about race relations, U.S. history, and biology, and scared the wits out of our children with catastrophic climate doomsday lies, destroying their hope for a prosperous future.
It further decided to inject your children with experimental poisons, smother them with useless masks, and destroy their budding socialization skills, so unionized teachers could enjoy a couple of years off with pay.
The Village decided that you and I and our children should eat bugs, manufactured meat, GMOs, fake eggs, and chemically engineered everything.
Perhaps the Yoruba, with their very different culture, can fulfill the meaning of the proverb, and work together to ensure their children’s well-being. I doubt that they have radical sects attempting to destroy their society from within. Maybe that’s why it can work for them.
By comparison, the Village, western style, is a caustic, destructive force bent on destroying our culture, Judeo-Christian values and morals, and— worst— the lives, well-being, and happiness of our children.
Instead of assembling in the commons to hold hands and dance ‘round the Maypole, our “village” metastasized into a malevolent mob bent on demolishing civil society. And our Village considers around half of us not to be members, but outcasts who must be shunned and silenced.
So, Hillary, and the rest of you perverted monsters, why don’t you take your village and shove it where the sun don’t shine— before Bill Gates blots it out?
I had the urge to go back in time, but Killary – chief Kool-aid maker – wrote that schlock in the 90s!
Well said fearless leader!
